In this clinic we'll take a look at defining and differentiating ideas like "social learning" and "social media". We'll then work with some popular public social tools -- Facebook, Twitter, blogs, wikis, a photo-based tool, and bookmarking tool -- to examine ways of enhancing and extending our practice as L&D professionals, particularly through use of collaborative approaches.
Note that this is not a "Social Media 101" course. The target audience is the person who has some experience with social tools, is interested in supporting social learning in the workplace, and is willing to try out new tools and use new ideas.
