Brent Altomare from Groovy Like A Movie will be speaking at our February meeting to discuss trends and best practices for using video in your training programs.

As training professionals we create many different types of training - onboarding, compliance, product, performance support, and reinforcement training to name a few. How are you designing and developing your training to maximize video? Are you finding ways to visually help your learners understand and apply the concepts you need them to learn? Using video in training is not a new concept but there are new trends and ideas on how to use video in your instructional design that doesn’t have to break the bank or demand significant resources.

We are looking forward to hearing ideas from Brent and sharing with the group on how to leverage video to improve our learning programs in 2016!

Dinner will be included for only $10.

About the Learning Technology SIG

This new group is intended to help members expand their knowledge and capabilities around technology-enabled learning. Specifically we aim to learn more about

    • Tools for design, development, and management of technology-enabled learning (mobile, e-learning, performance support, knowledge management, social, big data)

    • Challenges and best practices for design, development, implementation, and evaluation of technology-enabled learning

The group relies primarily on the members to present or facilitate discussions on selected topics. The presentations aim to engage the members in discussion so that we gain from our collective expertise.
