Host and speaker John Morley will share Storyline tips and tricks that will help you to work more quickly and effortlessly, while creating better work.
It's an open forum, so come prepared to ask questions, share your own experiences with Storyline, or just sit back and take a look at what Storyline can do.
The workshop is for intermediate to advanced users, but if you are new to Storyline, this is still for you: It will show you what Storyline can do and give you a look under the hood to see how it works. Free Storyline Trial

Meet Your Facilitator:
John Morley has been combining words, visuals, and sound in video and interactive media for clients and employers including Hitachi Data Systems, Farmers Insurance, Southern California Edison, Kaiser Permanente, and most of the Asian car companies.
Author of the book Scriptwriting for High Impact videos, he has taught at Cal State Northridge, lectured at UCLA, and conducted workshops at a variety of professional organizations and conferences.
An experienced coder, he has developed and managed numerous websites, and developed software used by clients including Saturday Night Live. After five years using Storyline at Genentech, he is now accepting assignments as an independent consultant.
ATD San Diego Chapter has been pre-approved by the ATD Certification Institute to offer educational programs that can be used towards initial eligibility and recertification of the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credentials. This program qualifies for a maximum of 1 point.

Meet Your Guest Speaker: Josh Cavalier
Josh began his career in elearning in 1994, as a Senior Art Director for an eLearning company, where he was responsible for creating engaging eLearning experiences for the banking Industry.
He has facilitated workshops for Fortune 500 companies and US military branches. From the floor of the NY Stock Exchange to the assembly line of the F-35 Lightning to numerous corporate headquarters, including Microsoft, Lockheed-Martin, Marriott, Lowes, Pizer, and many more.
Josh is now a national recognized AI consultant, offering masterclasses in ChatGPT, and coaching on AI. And he markets a set of over 250 prompts for use in learning and development.

Meet Your Guest Speaker: Sameul Apata
Samuel, a past president of the Fort Worth ATD chapter, is an instructional designer and eLearning developer.
He contributes regularly to the Articiulate eLearning challenge and has earned a place on their leader board.
He has earned a BSA in fine arts and a masters degree in instructional systems development from the University of Maryland.
And is currently a senior eLearning developer for Starbucks.

Joe Waddington started his career as a probation officer. He took a training position to take a "break" from the caseload work, and never looked back. He's been in the training world for over 20 years. A geek at heart, he has always tried to be on the leading edge of technology in the workplace.
He has developed eLearning for three different state agencies and leads a community of practice for eLearning developers throughout state government, helping to identify best practices and set development standards.

Thaddaeus contributes regurley to the Articulate eLearning challenge. He specialize in dynamic learning solutions for diverse audiences.
His innovative and meticulous design and development skills consistently produce engaging and effective training modules.
He loves using gamification, simulations and branching scenarios to elevate learning to the next level.
Thaddaeus earned a master degree from Georgia State University, is currently an eLearning developer at Endurance Learning, and is fluent in German.
